Yesterday we received notification that one of our Kiva loans was repaid in full, so I went to the site for some research. I thought we would be able to easily find another inspirational story & re-loan the money. But, Oprah recently featured the site on her show & all applications were fully funded. Hopefully, the company can quickly get some more businesses posted & capitalize on this great publicity. It's a neat concept & amazing how fast the loans are repaid.
Tonight, we took the family on a walk. It really felt like fall. There was a gorgeous sunset & we could hear the high school band playing at a football game in the valley.
