Yesterday, the twins & I went to Ella's Thanksgiving Feast at school. The teachers did a lovely job of decorating the gym to look like a swanky affair. Ella nibbled on "chicken," took a bite of cranberries & a taste of mashed potatoes. We will definitely be making those sides on Thursday. I am thrilled her taste buds are branching out beyond hot dogs. Luckily, one smart parent brought apples & grape tomatoes which most kids would tolerate. The rest got by on copious amounts of apple juice & cookies that lacked any hint of Thanksgiving flavor.
After an unseasonably cold October & an unseasonably warm November, the weather is returning to normal. It is chilly today!
