Ella really enjoyed her magical train ride to the North Pole. The event was completely sold out, so Nick & I were separated on our train. Greta is teething & was not terribly interested in sitting still for 1 1/2 hours. We exchanged twins half-way through the ride. Charlie loved ringing his bell & watching the little boy & his baby sister that were sitting next to me. Everyone loved the cookie. Santa made a visit to our train as well. Charlie looked at him suspiciously. Ella talked to him & Greta said "No." and buried her head in Nick's jacket. The highlight of the evening for Nick & I was dinner afterward. We met our friends at brew pub. Even though it was post-twin bedtime, we made it through dinner without any fits. I think the energy, noise & excitement of the other kids at our table helped. It was our first dinner out as a family since August (which was a disaster)!
