With Nick out of town, Ella has tried to step up as helper. Tonight we decided to make "Mozzarella" Sticks from Jessica Seinfeld's new cookbook. I was trying to get the sticks made & in the freezer before bathtime & got distracted by two little yelpers. So, I used puree from an entire head of cauliflower instead of just 1/2 cup. I was wondering why they didn't form nice little sticks. I should just give up trying to cook when Nick isn't home. By that time of the evening, the twins both want to be held & Ella is ready for attention too. Ella braved one bite. Despite the heavy cauliflower taste, I thought they were pretty good. Hogan was dancing around trying to get the leftovers.
