We hosted a black tie event at our house Friday night. Ella was such a big help sorting through all the kids toys, putting the little pieces all back where they belong & identifying a big laundry basket of toys to donate. Her reward was movie night. Aunt Jessie took the movie theme seriously & came dressed to the nine's.
Everyone wanted in one the glamor (well, at least Greta did). We had a fun evening & watched Enchanted (a new birthday gift from her friend Emmy). What a cute movie! Nick & Kevin rolled their eyes, but we saw them smiling at the sweetness of the movie.
Nick & Kevin a big ice cream fans, so our fancy dinner was topped off with an ice cream bar. I usually only buy flavors that I don't like (butter pecan, etc.), but at a moment of weakness, a sale sign caught my eye & I found myself buying Cherry Chocolate Chip & Cherry Vanilla. Thankfully, I got Nick to try to the flavor so I'm not eating it all myself. And, thankfully I don't like the girl scout cookie flavors as much as I thought I would.
