Jessica & Kevin took Ella to San Diego with them last weekend. In between the tours of Gettysburg, churches & history lessons, they managed to sneak in a few kid-friendly activities.
They twisted her arm & convinced her to get her face painted.
They promised her an extra serving of broccoli if she would just play for a little bit.
And they didn't wear her out at all.

My mom called butterflies "flutterbies" too. I love that word. I think every kid should have a Kaya and Aunt Jessica.
