Jessica & I participated in a snowshoeing Breast Cancer Fundraiser over the weekend.
It was a last minute decision. The weather wasn't too cooperative.
It started off raining, but the race ended in a little sun (unfortunately, I guess I wasn't using Ella's camera correctly because I thought I took more photos in the nice weather).
We had planned to do the race portion which starts earlier. Then we saw the starting line & everyone took off sprinting - in snowshoes.
Rather than get trampled, we started off with this group in between the runner & walkers.
I forgot how challenging snowshoeing is! I think my calves are still sore.
It was a fun event - lots of pink to remind you why we were all stomping across the golf course.
