Prima Donna

This little one gave us an impromptu performance last night. The rising of the sun - set to Tchaikovsky. The eyes are closed for dramatic effect. I could hear her whispering to herself about the sequence of event (and then i'm sleeping, and then the sun wakes up . . . ). For the record, I tried unsuccessfully to find a ZUMBA class for 3 year olds.
She's been pulling out the dance leotards a lot lately. Last time, Ella & I taught her some of the ballet positions. Afterward, she snuggled up smiling & said "Mom, I've never had a ballet teacher before." She has promised to listen to Miss Brooke in her first ballet class this afternoon. Our little baby is growing up.
