Before Nick left, we took the twins skiing again.
We picked a warmer day & talked up our adventure. Charlie was still skeptical.
Kevin took Ella skiing at Brighton so that she could have some fun on something more challenging than the bunny hill.
Kevin & Ella ran into friends from school - third grade twins Erik & Nick who are impressive skiiers.
I got very nervous when it was Charlie's turn.
Then, he started slumping over which made me even more nervous. But, he nailed it!
He even broke out the happy dance!
Greta is my kind of skiier. Do a run, eat a goldfish, do a run . . .
When Kevin & Ella met up with us, Ella made it clear that the bunny hill was NOT cool.
Charlie LOVED skiing with his uncle.
Charlie & Kevin going down. Greta & Nick coming up.
Before the end of the day, Nick figured out a way to get up the hill without killing his back.
Nick was really happy to end the ski season on such a high note.
Lots of smiles.
Lots of laughs.
We topped off the adventure with lunch at the Alta Lodge. We are so lucky to live near these mountains & near such awesome family. Thanks Uncle K for a great day!
And, for good measure, here's a video (off Nick's phone) of Charlie (Greta was permanently planted by the goldfish by this time).Who knows, with the snow coming down today, we might get another ski day in this season!
