Charlie marches to the beat of his own drum. Many times, I don't know if he notices my presence. Ella & Greta regularly ask if I am coming to a school event, but not Charlie. As I was waiting for Charlie's walk around the sun, I took some photos in the classroom. Without acknowledging my presence, Charlie announced to his friend with a proud smile "That's my mom. She loves to take pictures of me." It was very sweet and it was the closest he has ever come to showing that he was glad I was in his classroom.
