Over the past few days, I took a few fun classes. I was inspired & ready for a new look on the blog. I'm still tweaking away, but I'm happy with the first phase of changes.
Another class was obviously on calligraphy. I used to practice calligraphy when I was a kid. Let's just say I was a little rusty! Though, I think the key will be to purchase a different nib & practice, practice, practice.
We'll put that project on the back burner until we get settled in New Mexico.
Jessica seemed to get the hang of it by the end of the class. So, expect your holiday cards from her to be beautifully handwritten this year.
This is what the teacher showed us. I think I have a bit more work to do before mine looks this beautiful, but I really enjoyed my little creative release this week - even if my hands are still smudged with ink.
