The tough part of RVing is that unless you invest in a little tow car, you don't have a way to get around town once you park the RV. We took advantage of having extra cars around on one day & loaded the {very large} crew up & headed to the ski mountain.
I wished that we would have come to ski Durango last winter. I don't think we will be making the 8 hour drive from Denver.
It was very windy & cold at the base of the mountain. We decided to send everyone down the Alpine Slide. Poor Greta got stuck riding with me. My camera bag produced sufficient drag that we didn't go very fast.
The much more exciting part of the day was climbing into the harness & jumping on the trampoline.
It was pretty awesome to hear the squeals & screams.
The kids all had so much fun.
Greta was the front flip queen.
After an exhausting few hours on the mountain & a tasty Mexican dinner, we headed back to the campgrounds to recover from our adventures.
