While the kids swam & dined in style on grilled cheese sandwiches with Grandma & Grandpa, Nick & I hit the strip.
and had an amazing view. We scanned the Vegas shows, but nothing really caught our eye so we decided to kill time until dinner (a dangerous thing in Las Vegas). We had a $20 slot machine credit with our package so we hit the casino.
Yeah, this is how we roll. In case you were wondering, yes, Nick did lose a lot more than $20 at the black jack table while I was working the slot machines.
The Palazzo has a ton of great restaurants, but Nick wanted something different so he choose the Barrymore. His food was good. Mine was meh. My scallops were rubbery & the broccolini was so garlicky it was inedible. Though, we did enjoy the grilled octopus appetizer.
Our best decision of the night was to walk from the restaurant to the hotel. It was COLD. But, we stopped along the way at the Wynn - another gorgeous hotel.
My phone doesn't do the holiday decorations justice. After a lovely breakfast at the Grand Lux {tuscan farm house eggs with tomato bruschetta were divine}, it was time to head home & rescue Grandma & Grandpa.
