Nick had a friend in town this weekend & they hit opening day at Coors Field.
Neither of them wore purple or the right team hat.
We learned that it is the one game of the year that sells out early. It was estimated that there were over 50,000 people at the game and another 20,000 enjoying the fun downtown. Buy your tickets early!
Their seats were just slightly better than our last visit.
Unlike the snowy arctic day we are having today, Friday was the perfect day to be outside. From what the guys reported, it was a really fun experience. I'm not sure why the energy and fan enthusiasm on opening day doesn't carry over to other regular season games, but I'm adding opening day for hte Colorado Rockies to my growing list of Colorado Must-Dos.
