We spent a few days over spring break in Breckenridge.
It was cold.
We took lots of hot chocolate breaks.
Despite the frigid temps, there were lots of smiles.
A friend from high school was skiing in Breck so we got to ski together a bit. We have no photos, you'll just have to trust me that it was fun.
The first few days were super cold & snowy.
The hot tub was awesome, but a little too far from our room. It was an icy dash back into the condo.
We played games.
And watched the start of the NCAA tournament.
The kids enjoyed the spooky forest and walking into town. Though, we didn't do a lot of window shopping in the cold weather.
The condo was great because we didn't need a car once we arrived. We all want to come back in the summer to explore the town a bit more.
The temps finally hit the twenties toward the end of our visit. Twenty never felt so warm.
We had some major milestones this trip.
I skied my first Blue Run and the twins skied their first Black Diamond.
Breck isn't steep so I guess it isn't that impressive. But, we still celebrated.
As much as we enviously watched our friends posting pictures from the beach, we were happy we had one last ski adventure.
Now bring on spring!
